We realise that a web site is a public forum, we will not
include members addresses, and we'll be sure to ask members before posting any details except their names.
Members names will not be appearing until we have checked with them, or, in the case of children, with their parents.
We have resumed the practice of awarding a "Judoka of the
Month" award to the boy and girl chosen by the Coaches and Instructors for that honour. Watch out for your
name.
Membership of the Arena Budo Kwai and thereby
the Arena Judo Club is open to Children of all ages from 5 years until 16 years. Of either sex and any persuasion, and
or physical ability or disability. Judo can only be properly practiced wearing a Gi or Judo Uniform and when joining,
for a small deposit, a Gi will be provided. Joining Fee is £5.00 and this is also paid annually as a subscription.
Practice fees are £12.50 per calendar month per player. Practice is for one hour on Friday nights
and beginners will normally attend from 6PM until 7PM and Improvers from 7PM until 8PM.

Details of Membership below.
We close for Public Holicays such as Good Friday and, sometimes
for half terms and usually for two weeks during the Summer Holidays. Since 2007 we have started to close for the
whole month of August. This is because, not enough members can agree or are able to attend over that period but the
rent would still have to be paid. Fees will be refunded or not charged at all for these occasions. At other times, whilst
we are open, refunds will not be given for missed nights of practice. Any exceptions to this rule are,naturally, according
to circumstances and therefore, by prior arrangement.
