We are beginning to see
more of Paul Whent these days as his work ethic changes. Amanda Perry, our latest parent who is also a Female
Dan Graded player with instructing experience has been a decidedly welcome addition. She has already shown that
she can take over the classes without supervision, unfortunately, a sudden workload for Karl meant that he had to leave it
to Amanda alone just before the Summer recess. Amanda has two children of her own who have joined the Club
We had a very successful day of Competition
on December 16th which concluded our year. Practice begins again on Friday the 6th of January and due to the reduction in
numbers we will only have one big class starting at 6PM until 7PM. To say that I personally am very disappointed is an understatement.
however we will attempt to get the numbers of players up again and then we will be able to have the beginners and improvers
seperated once more. If the number of players continues at the same level as it has been we will continue with one class
on Friday evenings. For the month of January thefees will be reduced to £10.00 per child. Everybody's
financial situation is stretched these days and some more than others.
I cannot pay the higher rent of the Dojo without
sufficient income, it is as simple as that. If you have difficulty in paying for the practice fees, come and see me,
phone me or send an email and we can adjust the situation.
