Updated 21st July 2009

We will in September,  be getting ready for our annual Club Competition which heralds the end of our 12th successful year in this Venue.  The Competition is a friendly that we hold in the best spirit of the sport of Judo and to accepted Judo Rules of Competition.  We will spend a few weeks getting used to the etiquette used on the Mat before, during and after Competive Judo.  The Competition will be held during the early weeks of December 2010.

.You will have noticed that Sheryl Root, the lady that used to help on Friday evenings with the collection of fees etc. and also Gill Petchey who was also helping, are no longer with us and basically this is because their daughters, who practiced Judo no longer wish to do so and it is not realistic for their mothers to continue.  Les Nicholass will, for the meantime at least, continue with that duty.  I am sure that all the members would like to thank both Sheryl and Gill for their help and wish them well in what they will now be doing.

A CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
